Sophia Myles Wins Best Actress At Breckenridge Film Festival
Dan was delighted to receive two jury awards for his latest short film All That Glitters at the Breckenridge Festival of Film in Colorado – winning “Best Drama” and “Best Actress” for Sophia Myles.
The domestic violence drama tells the story of a desperate teenager who snatches a rich woman’s handbag, but in a bizarre twist of fate discovers that her life is not as rosy as it seems and that they have more in common than he realizes.
Dan thanked the festival and jury, saying “Shooting between lockdowns during the pandemic was very challenging but Sophia was an absolute star and gave the complex and nuanced role of Margaret everything she had and was an absolute pleasure to work with.”
