“Absolution” Awarded Film Council Lottery Grant

Dan’s psychological thriller short Absolution has been awarded a Film Council National Lottery grant through regional funding body Screen East. The award-winning short film tells the dark story of a psychiatrist who delves into the troubled mind of her patient but finds her unconventional suggestive therapy has horrific consequences.

The award has been specifically awarded to Dan’s production company Darc Productions in order to complete post production and produce a digital print for participation in the Drama International Short Film Festival in Greece.

DISFF presents an annual International Competition showing the best new films from Greece and around the world, as well as parallel events including pitching lab, film market, interviews, masterclasses, concerts, book presentations, panels and networking for filmmakers and professionals.
